The new TTS Black-Out films prevent light from shining through banners, roller blinds, curtains and projection screens. The flexible multilayer film is laminated to the textiles, resulting in opaque (or transparent) laminates. The final result is either 100% black-out or (in case of the transparent film) results in great light diffusion properties for your textiles. Black-Out textiles The innovative multilayer film prevents light from shining through textiles, curtains and decorative furnishing materials. The Black-Out effect results from a multilayer structure comprising flexible thermoplastic films. In contrast to coated Black-Out materials, these films are laminated to the textiles in a single operation. The outcome is an opaque or transparent yet flexible and even rollable laminate. The key benefits are that you own favourite textile can be made black-out or made suitable for back-lit applications, all this can be done on your own Calender. Reducing this to a single-pass laminating operation considerably shortens the overall production time as compared with coated Black-Out systems. The new film grades also help absorb sound and ambient noise. TTS currently has different versions in production. Contact us to obtain more information!
